As the place for teens to volunteer, learn, lead, travel, and play – amazing things happen at the JCC! Whether in middle school or high school, we have programs that meet all of your academic and social needs. The JCC offers college and Regents preparation, service projects, leadership opportunities, and the chance to make lifelong connections.
Last year, over 1,000 teens from 12 area high schools participated in our programs through volunteer, leadership, recreational, travel, summer, and academic programs. Teens at the JCC earn, on average, 42 volunteer hours annually through community service programs, and raise $15,000 for important causes through philanthropic initiatives and special events. The JCC provides teens with opportunities to flourish beyond their high school years. Additionally, teens that are involved in leadership programs at the JCC continue to build these skills in college through Hillel, Greek life, student clubs and associations, and more.
What better way to connect with the community than at the JCC? As a teen volunteer, you help support families (children and eldercare), improve education (tutoring and literacy), support youth (after-school programs and mentoring), beautify the community (beach and park cleanups) and help vulnerable populations (those who are hungry and sick). Let the JCC have a lasting impact on your life!
