Our Facilities

At our Gershwind/Jacobson Health & Wellness Center, the rewards of better physical, mental and spiritual health begin the moment you walk through the doors. As you make your way through our 36,000 square feet of state-of-the-art fitness equipment and recreational space, our friendly, experienced and professional staff are waiting to greet you and your family. With an array of full service group exercise studios, strength and conditioning rooms, cardiovascular area, heated pools, spin room, indoor track and basketball courts, you’ll have plenty of options for your personal fitness. After the workout is over, make sure to enjoy our sauna, steam and whirlpool! Minimum age to use the center is 13 years old. Those 13-15 must complete a JFit Jr. (Teen Fitness Certification Course) prior to using the fitness center.

With our annual 5k event, raising money for the Nancy Marx Cancer Wellness Center, we’re not just a place to work out. Ages: 16+ years

As a member, receive a complimentary JFit Plus, your design for living. Guiding you through our in-depth analysis of medical history, lifestyle and goals, our trained health professionals develop a personalized action plan to ensure your ultimate fitness success.


JFIT JR. TEEN FITNESS CERTIFICATION
Ages: 13–15 years
This two-part certification course is designed to ensure that all teen members are working out safely and effectively. Required in order to use the fitness center.

SPECIALIZED FITNESS TRAINING

TRIATHLON CLUB

If you are looking to improve your fitness level, compete in your first triathlon, or improve your racing distance or time, this program is for you. Training includes individual assessments, motivating coaches and team workouts.

$50 discount to returning team members.

Includes all group workout sessions, team jerseys for new members, individual evaluations and assessments by coaches as well as a physical therapist.

Initially, you will need to have running, spin shoes, a bathing cap, goggles and fins. Additional equipment will be needed along the way including a wetsuit, outdoor bike, helmet and bike gloves.

AQUATICS PERSONAL TRAINING

A certified aqua fitness instructor will give you an individually designed fitness program that includes both resistance and cardiovascular training within a 50-minute session. See schedule above under 17+years. Excludes Rapid 1-on-1 and Off Peak.


BOXING TRAINING

Get fighter fit without being hit! Learn boxing basics, improve body composition, gain muscle and lower stress.

Introductory package includes three one-hour sessions for $129.

A family-run business in practice for more than 35 years, we proudly provide comprehensive healthcare to JCC members of all ages. Our clinicians are known for their specialized physical, occupational and aquatic therapy expertise to guide your recovery and cultivate your preventive practices. No prescription is needed to start – free physical therapy screening for JCC members.

Have a senior in the family? Come in for a complimentary balance screening to measure their risk and prepare them for core strengthening and fall prevention in preparation for the winter season.

We are located on the second floor of the JCC.
