Nancy Marx Cancer Wellness Center

Through our yoga, full body training and swim training programs, participants increase energy, improve balance and flexibility as well as enhance heart and bone health.  Professionals provide ways to assist your medical care in the battle against cancer through nutrition, career services, guest speakers and short-term counseling. Our discussion groups allow open conversation in an understanding, warm and caring setting.

Recovery is a journey, we are here for you for every step.

“There are no words to fully express my gratitude for the JCC Cancer Wellness program, for you as the director of this program and for all the participants I met in the discussion group. It has helped me grow stronger physically and emotionally. When I entered the program I was so depressed, but slowly my strength and spirit started to return. I am learning acceptance of uncertainty and finding ways to make life meaningful again. For all these blessings, I am filled with gratitude.”

“The Retreat today way perfect, warm and friendly and a pleasure to attend. Thank you for hosting such a fine event. Thanks for all you do at JCC.”

“Thanks for all you do for us. Your programs have given me true boosts.”

“I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate attending the water exercise class every Tuesday. I feel so much better since I have been attending class. A year ago I would not have believed just what this therapy has done for me. Thank you Randy.”

IN TREATMENT? DO YOU NEED HELP WITH YOUR KIDS?

We’ve Got Your Back is a Go With Courage funded program designed to help children of families experience a semblance of normalcy when their parent or sibling is in cancer treatment. When a parent is facing the battle of their life, they may not have the strength, time or resources to maintain a normal schedule for their children. We are here to help coordinate needed services such as childcare, routine errands or homework help.
