FAMILY SUPPORT

The Center for People With Special Needs is designed to support the entire family —parents, grandparents, siblings, and beyond.

We are here to support you with:

• Emotional Support: As a caring ear and will connect you to a support group and/or individual counseling for additional support.
• OPWDD Enrollment Guidance: To help navigate the challenges of enrolling with the NYS Office For People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
• Resources and Referrals: To provide connections to additional services and resources within the community, such as behaviorists, legal teams, and more.
• Coming Soon – Support Groups: Are you caring for a loved one with special needs? Looking to connect with others in the community who share your role as either a parent, grandparent, or sibling? Come join us to receive emotional support, exchange parenting strategies, share challenges, and develop solutions in a group setting.
