Groups held for those caring for an older adult, for those that are bereaved, for those caring for someone with young onset dementia, and for those that are separated or divorced, in our confidential, age and life-stage appropriate professionally led support groups facilitated by caring, experienced and licensed social workers. Spousal Bereavement Group
Support for those who have lost a spouse/partner
Adult Children Bereavement Group
Support for those in their 20s,30s, and 40s who have lost a parent
Divorce and Separation Group
Support for those newly divorced or separated
Spousal Caregiver Support Group
Support for those with a spouse diagnosed with Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, or another neurodegenerative illness. Young-onset caregiver support groups and older onset caregiver support groups available.
Adult Children Caregiver Support Group
Support for those in their 20s and 30s with a parent diagnosed with Dementia, Parkinson’s disease or another neurodegenerative illness.
Community support programs held at the JCC are either led by an outside facilitator or by peer members of the group, and are free to the community. While the JCC fully supports these avenues of self-help and discovery, the opinions expressed within these forums are not regulated by the JCC.
SECOND GENERATION GROUP
