Located at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in Wheatley Heights, Camp Kehilla provides a flexible, accessible, and personalized summer experience for neurodivergent children and young adults, ages 5-21. For almost three decades, Camp Kehilla has been a leader in creating an inclusive environment where individuals of varying abilities engage in traditional camp activities—such as swimming, arts and crafts, sports, and drama—alongside specialized adaptive programming.
By fostering independence, building confidence, and encouraging lasting friendships, Camp Kehilla cultivates a supportive space where every individual can thrive.
Lower Camp is divided into four groups: Little Dippers (ages 5 and 6), Star Hoppers (age 7), Marvelous Martians (ages 8 and 9 years), and Cosmic Comets (ages 10 and 11).
