Interested in learning how to make healthy choices when dining out or on vacation? Sarah Miller, a registered dietitian at Northwell Health’s Lipid Center with a focus on cardiology and lipidology, and a specialty in diabetes control and management, will share practical strategies on how to maintain dietary goals without sacrificing flavor when you’re on the go!

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE “BLUE ZONES”
Researcher and National Geographic journalist Dan Buettner identified five locations around the world – dubbed “blue zones” – that foster a lifestyle of longevity based on nine principles. Key factors include activity, outlook, connections, and diet. Registered dietitian and health supportive chef Zari Ginsburg will virtually span the globe and share how you can incorporate habits and foods from these populations into your daily routine! Snacks that represent the zones will be served.
