Our state-of the art facility is the perfect place to enjoy all our great productions and workshops. Whether you’re a member of the audience or interested in being a performer, you’ll find Sid Jacobson JCC is the place to be for theatre.

Community theatre enriches the lives of those who take an active part in it, as well as those in the community who benefit from live theatre productions. Community theatre offers a gateway to new worlds of experience, emotion and knowledge.

Our programs give you the opportunity to work with a diverse group of creative people who share a theatrical vision of that not only entertain the audience but also broadens their understanding of the world in which they live.

We have productions, workshops, camps and volunteer programs. You can become a performer, help with the lighting, create the set designs or craft the costumes. With so many ways to participate your sure to find a deeply rewarding opportunity to grow your creativity. As part of a team your participation will create an impact on the community in so many ways.

If you love performing, the JCC is the place to be! Whether you’re interested in singing, dancing or dramatic acting our workshops and productions give you the tools to do so.

In collaboration with A Class Act NY — New York’s premier acting studio. Many workshop participants are appearing on Broadway, television and film. All skill levels welcome, space is limited!

A CLASS ACT NY’S ONE-WEEK BROADWAY CAMP ACANY
In partnership with A Class Act, NY, New York’s premier acting studio
Ages: 7-17 years
Take workshops in musical theatre, dance, acting, voice training, improvisation, stage combat, stage makeup and more all taught by Broadway stars and industry professionals. For repeat campers all workshops will be brand new material. The week includes a trip to see a Broadway show and a Talk Back with Broadway actors and concludes with a final showcase performance in our own JCC theatre. A rare and unique opportunity to learn from professionals who are working in the theatre today! All skill levels welcome, space is limited. Cost includes ticket to Broadway show and transportation to New York City.

Join us in Neverland in our personalized version of this popular classic! Program will culminate with performances in the spring. Children gain confidence, learn new skills and have fun! Three sessions available, full year program.

Volunteer

Love the theatre, but prefer to work behind the scenes? Volunteer opportunities are available for production assistants, set builders, scenic artists, costumers, lighting and sound technicians, stage managers and stage crew. Adults and teens welcome. Community service and college internships available.
