Sid Jacobson JCC is proud to offer two unique opportunities for high school students to grow as leaders, deepen their understanding of Israel, and build meaningful connections, both locally and globally. Through programs that emphasize learning, dialogue, and shared experiences, teens discover their potential to make a lasting impact.

COMMUNITY CHANUKAH CELEBRATION
Grades: 9-12
Celebrate Chanukah with the community! Enjoy activities, Sufganiyot, latkes, gelt, and candle lighting.

PROJECT ISRAEL
Grades: 9-10
Explore history, culture, and complexities; gain leadership skills; connect with peers locally and abroad; and become informed advocates for your community!
Pathways to Connection:
Interactive Learning: Sessions led by Israeli emissaries and guest speakers
Leadership Development: Tools to become informed advocates and community leaders
Global Connection: A week with Israeli teens from our partner community, Kadima Tzoran

PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
Grade: 11
Project Understanding unites students through discussion, travel, and shared learning. This program encourages teens to reflect on their own faith, learn about others, and engage in meaningful conversation.

Interfaith Dialogue: Thoughtful exchanges between Catholic and Jewish students
Local Engagement: Programs and events that foster community and understanding
Global Connection: A 10-day journey to Israel

ROOTONE WINTER TRIP
Grade: 12
Make your last high school winter break unforgettable! Explore Israel’s history, culture, and resilience while connecting with peers and giving back through hands-on volunteering.
Pathways to Connection:
Immersive Learning: Guided by expert educators and Israeli peers
Volunteer Projects: Earn 10 hours of service credit through
Adventure & Discovery: Hike the desert, bike along the Yarkon River, and experience Israel’s diversity firsthand
