Are you caring for someone with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or another neurodegenerative condition and find yourself searching for ways to navigate today while planning for tomorrow? Caring for yourself may feel impossible, yet it’s a crucial piece of the complex puzzle. With a focus on proactive learning through expert-led workshops and support groups that reinforce social connection and emotional well-being, we help you care for yourself while caring for someone you love through every stage of the journey.

YOUNG ADULT SUPPORT GROUP
Do you have a parent diagnosed with dementia or another neurodegenerative
disorder? Join us virtually once a month for a professionally facilitated group for those in their 20s and 30s looking to gain support and develop coping strategies.

SUPPORT GROUP FOR SPOUSES
Professionally facilitated support groups facilitated by licensed social workers are being offered both in-person and virtually. These groups provide emotional support and strategies for care partners, tailored to the individual based on age of diagnosis and based on stage.

CARE CONSULTATIONS

Our licensed social workers are here to help you navigate the complexities that go along with being a care partner. We provide assistance with long-term care planning needs, offering problem-solving strategies, and providing community resources. Self-care is crucial part of a care partner’s journey and will be highly encouraged in each consultation.

MEMORY CAFÉ
Music, dancing, and refreshments for people living with dementia or other neurodegenerative disorders, and their families.

EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP SERIES
Building your knowledge base helps you be the most equipped care partner. This professionally facilitated, interactive 10-session seminar—designed for spouses and adult children—covers communication strategies, behavior management, and coping techniques.

CARE PARTNER LUNCHEON 
Join us as we celebrate Care Partner Appreciation Day with a special lunch honoring you! Enjoy a delicious meal at Hendrick’s Tavern in Roslyn, live music, and a relaxing afternoon connecting with fellow care partners — or meeting new friends who share your journey.
