At Sid Jacobson JCC in East Hills, Long Island, our children’s swim programs help kids of all ages develop strong swim fundamentals in a supportive, structured environment. With small group instruction and certified instructors, children progress at their own pace while building comfort and confidence in the water.

GET STARTEDProgram costs are $228 $285 Members / $332 $415 nonmembers for each level, when you sign up by March 20. All classes are 9 sessions for the semester. Classes are prorated for late sign ups.
Ages: 6-18 months
Introduce your child to the water in a fun, comfortable setting. Parents participate, focusing on early skills like body positioning and bubble blowing. Swim diapers required.
Begins Thursday, December 4, 2:30-3pm
Ages: 18–36 months
Build early water comfort and foundational skills like floating, kicking, and safety in a supportive parent‑in‑water class. Swim diapers required.
Begins Thurs, Dec. 4, 3:00–3:30pm
$285 members / $415 nonmembers
Ages: 3–5 years
Parent/child class focused on floating, gliding, breath control, and early independence. Parents in the water; swim diapers if not toilet trained.
Begins Thursday, December 4, 3:30-4pm
Ages: 5–10 years
First independent swim class for new or water‑fearful swimmers, introducing basic kicks, arm pulls, breath control, floating, and safety.
Ages: 5–10 years
For kids who swim several feet unassisted, focusing on front and back crawl, rotary breathing, and increasing swim distance.
Ages: 6–11 years
For swimmers comfortable for 25 yards unassisted, this class builds side breathing, breaststroke, butterfly basics, and lap etiquette.
Ages: 7–12 years
Designed for skilled swimmers who swim 50 yards continuously, refining all strokes—front crawl, back crawl, butterfly, breaststroke, and sidestroke—plus endurance.
