Our community partners are working toward local and broader social justice through advocacy training, issue-based education, and civic engagement opportunities, while meeting our mission to seek balanced solutions. The goal: to effect change that will result in a better life for all.

ANTISEMITISM
Recently, our country has faced a wave of troubling times and acts of hate. In an age where facts and truth are assaulted and moral equivalence overrides right from wrong, we, along with 50 synagogues and JCCs across Long Island, united to sign a collective statement that hate has no home on our Island, or around the world.

Thrive is a coalition for Jewish community institutions that want to protect and advance LGBTQ+ civil rights on both state and federal levels. Coalition members receive vital, accessible information and resources to educate and activate their communities to affirm the dignity and humanity of LGBTQ+ youth. Thrive is a project of Keshet, an organization advancing LGBTQ equality in Jewish life across North America and SOJOURN, which empowers communities to advance and celebrate gender and sexual diversity across the Southern United States.”
