Let’s share the lane smoothly and respectfully.
Stay on the right side of the lane—just like driving. This keeps traffic flowing safely and efficiently.
Only enter when there’s enough space between swimmers.
Begin swimming when there’s a clear gap to avoid disruptions.
If you need to pass another swimmer, do so on the left side.
Be courteous—avoid splashing or swimming too closely.
Allow faster swimmers to pass at the wall when possible.
If you’re taking a break, move to the corner of the lane, not the center.
Make brief eye contact or say a quick hello before joining a lane.
If things feel crowded or unclear, speak up politely.
When everyone follows the flow, lap swimming is safer, smoother, and more enjoyable for all.
