Sid Jacobson JCC is proud to partner with Shames JCC, JCC Mid-Westchester, and Suffolk Y JCC for the Verve High Holiday Retreat, a meaningful getaway for active adults 55+. Together, we’ll celebrate the High Holiday season with time outdoors, thoughtful programming, kosher meals, evening entertainment, and opportunities to connect with other JCC communities.

A Retreat for Reflection, Connection, and Fun

The Verve High Holiday Retreat brings together the spirit of the season with the joy of a shared getaway. Over three days, participants will relax, recharge, meet new people, and enjoy a full retreat experience centered on community, renewal, and meaningful time together.

Daily activities may include fitness and yoga, meditation, pickleball, art, boating, dance, lectures, book discussions, holiday cooking, evening entertainment, and s’mores around the campfire.

Retreat Details

Dates: Tuesday, September 15 at 12 pm through Thursday, September 17 at 2 pm
Location: Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp, Copake, NY
Audience: Active adults ages 55+
Hosted by: Shames JCC, JCC Mid-Westchester, Suffolk Y JCC, and Sid Jacobson JCC
Cost: $625 shared double room / $725 private room

What’s Included

Your registration includes:

• Round-trip coach bus transportation from your JCC
• Private or shared double room in lodge-style housing
• Private bathroom, heat, and air conditioning in each room
• Linens, pillows, and bath towels
• Kosher meals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages
• All activities and evening entertainment
• S’mores around the campfire

What Happens After You Register

After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with next steps. Additional information, including allergies, housing preferences, emergency contacts, waivers, roommate requests, and other participant details, will be collected closer to the retreat.

All participants will be required to complete a pool waiver.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by August 15 will be refunded for any reason.

From August 16–September 1, full refunds will be issued if your spot can be filled. If your spot cannot be filled, a 50% refund will be provided.

After September 1, refunds will only be issued if your spot can be filled.
