Join SJJCC and UJA-Federation of New York for Witness Project, where the powerful stories of survivors come to life through performance and art — so that we always remember.
Witness Project, a collaborative process between high school students and Holocaust survivors, explores the issues of loss and resilience, war, and trauma during the Holocaust. The wartime experiences of survivors come alive as they’re reenacted by students, and you’ll get a glimpse into the valuable relationships created during their time together by viewing artwork inspired by the survivors.
The number of Holocaust survivors continues to decline, and we must bear witness. There couldn’t be a more urgent time to hear their stories of strength and resilience.
