Our main parking lot will be closed during this Sunday’s Stronger Than Cancer 5K and Block Party. Please park in the lot across from the JCC, at 2200 Northern Boulevard. After turning onto Forest Drive, head straight into the gated lot. Park towards the back (as you get closer to our building), and an open gate will provide direct access to the JCC. It’s not too late to join us for the event; register online at sjjcc.org/5K until 10pm Thursday. Walk-up registration opens at 7:15am on Sunday. See you there!

Take your swimming to the next level with SJJCC’s Barracudas Swim Team! Designed for swimmers ages 6-18 years, our program focuses on stroke refinement, endurance building, and competitive techniques. Whether you’re aiming to improve your form or compete in local meets, Barracudas offers the perfect balance of fun and challenge.

We value hard work, integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork. If your swimmer enjoys healthy competition and wants to set and achieve personal goals, this is the team for them!

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • Expert Coaching: Led by experienced professionals focused on swimmer development
  • Skill Development: Emphasis on technique, endurance, and race strategy
  • Team Spirit: Supportive and inclusive environment
  • Competitive Meets: Participate in the Metro JCC Swimming League (6 meets on Sundays)
  • Dive Clinics: Specialized training sessions outside regular practice
  • Championship Meet: Metro JCC Championships on Sunday, April 18, 2027 at Nassau County Aquatic Center
