Groups held for those caring for an older adult, for those who are bereaved, for those caring for someone with young-onset dementia, and for those who are separated or divorced, in our confidential, age and life-stage-appropriate, professionally led support groups facilitated by caring, experienced, and licensed social workers.

Spousal Care Partner
Support for those with a spouse diagnosed with dementia, Parkinson’s, or another neurodegenerative illness.
HERO Project
A safe space for middle and high school students who have lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, or friend, to feel empowered while connecting with other grieving peers.

Programs held at the JCC are either led by an outside facilitator or by peer members of the group, and are free to the community. While the JCC fully supports these avenues of self-help and discovery, the opinions expressed within these forums are not regulated by the JCC.
