Assistant Director of Camp Jacobson + Director of Youth Services
Ensuring safe, positive, and fun after-school experiences for all SJJCC children is Lindsay Berez, the Bernice & Ira Waldbaum Family Children’s Center’s Director of Youth Services + Assistant Director of Camp Jacobson. Lindsay graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Community Development and then received her Master of Social Work in Group Work from Hunter College. She began her career at Freidberg Jewish Community Center as the Teen Services Director and then became the Coordinator of Year-Round Programs and Sunrise on Wheels at Sunrise Day Camp in Oceanside. Now, as the Director of Youth Services at SJJCC Lindsay partners with Early Childhood, Teen, and Camp departments to provide year round services for families, oversees all children enrolled in after school programs, and is the primary point of contact for parents, schools and enrichment activities.
