Let us help you through life’s challenges in our confidential, age and life-stage appropriate professionally led support groups facilitated by caring, experienced and licensed social workers. A brief telephone intake is required.

For those interested in redefining life after the loss of a spouse/partner after the first year.

VIRTUAL SUPPORT
Are you seeking to gain support due to the loss of a spouse or partner? Would you like to connect with others to share your experience and learn coping strategies? We are forming new virtual Zoom groups this summer to help you gain support. Pre-registration and a brief phone screening is required. To join, please call 516.484.1545 ext. 196 and leave a brief message with your name and phone number. A licensed social worker will return your call as soon as possible. Please note that the return phone call may be an unlisted phone number.

A.C.T. FOR RECOVERY PROGRAM

The Aftercare Community Transition (A.C.T.) for Recovery Program seeks to support and assist individuals who are on the path to recovery from addiction, as well as their family. The program is led by a licensed clinical social worker and certified addiction specialist.

Services include:

  • Individual and family short-term counseling
  • Information and referrals to community resources
  • Psychoeducational workshops, trainings, presentations
  • Recovery support groups
  • Wellness programs (12-Step yoga; meditation)
  • Career counseling
  • Spiritual support in partnership with our Partners in Caring Synagogues
  • NeraLI Concerned Persons Support Group
