INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

We offer professional, confidential, short-term counseling for individuals, young adults, adults, seniors, and families. For more information, contact our Support Group + Counseling Services, 516.484.1545 ext. 196.


SUPPORT GROUPS

Let us help you through life’s challenges in these virtual or in-person support groups. Groups held for those caring for an older adult, for those that are bereaved, for those caring for someone with young onset dementia, and for those that are separated or divorced, in our confidential, age and life-stage appropriate professionally led support groups facilitated by caring, experienced and licensed social workers. A brief telephone intake is required. Please call 516.484.1545 ext. 196 and leave a brief message with your name and phone number.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUPS

Community support programs held at the JCC are either led by an outside facilitator or by peer members of the group, and are free to the community. While the JCC fully supports these avenues of self-help and discovery, the opinions expressed within these forums are not regulated by the JCC.

SECOND GENERATION GROUP

GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS (GA)
Gamblers Anonymous is a 12-step program for people who have a gambling addiction.

OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS (OA)
A 12-step program that offers physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery for those who
suffer from compulsive eating.
