During Black History Month, Sid Jacobson JCC celebrates and reflects on African Americans’ significant contributions to our society by recommitting ourselves to the idea that education and engagement create enlightenment. The month-long celebration of Black History Month emphasizes the shared history of African Americans. It centers the importance of recognizing and commemorating African Americans’ unique contributions and undeniable impact on The United States as a community and culture.
