Project Understanding

See the world through a different lens.

Grade: 11

Project Understanding is a transformative educational experience that brings students together through dialogue, shared learning, and travel. The program fosters deeper self-reflection, encourages exploration of personal faith and identity, and builds meaningful relationships across communities.

Through guided conversations and immersive experiences, participants engage with diverse perspectives, strengthen their understanding of both their own traditions and others’, and develop the skills needed for respectful and impactful dialogue.

Interfaith Dialogue:

Engage in thoughtful, facilitated conversations among Catholic and Jewish students to explore beliefs, values, and shared experiences.

Local Engagement:

Participate in programs, workshops, and community events that promote connection, understanding, and collaboration at the local level. Program sessions run throughout the year (schedule shared upon acceptance).

Global Connection:

Extend learning beyond the classroom through a meaningful international experience.

Travel Experience

Dates: February 11 – February 21, 2027
A 10-day educational journey to Israel, providing students with the opportunity to explore historical and cultural sites, deepen interfaith understanding, and strengthen bonds formed throughout the program.
