Cultural Arts

EDWARD & BERNICE WENGER CENTER
FOR THE ARTS — CULTURAL ARTS

Experience a world of culture through spotlight speakers, films, Q&A sessions and book signings with best-selling, popular, and emerging authors and Jewish + Israeli cultural events. Year after year our stage is graced by some of the biggest names such as Kristin Hannah, Erik Larsen, Jodi Picoult, Daniel Silva, Tess Gerritsen, @crazyjewishmom, NBC’s Martin Fletcher, and former Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Barak.

PROGRAMMING NOTE: In these challenging times, we rely more than ever on the arts to transport us and lift our spirits. Reading a great book, watching a favorite film, or listening to music can all provide comfort in the face of uncertainty. With our doors closed, our team is working tirelessly to continue providing quality programs through digital channels in these times of social distancing.

Introducing our new virtual series, Culturally Yours – Books and More!
Join us for our first program as we welcome Long Island author Brenda Janowitz who will discuss The Grace Kelly Dress, which best-selling novelist Kristin Hannah called, “fast paced and entertaining from beginning to end.” The story follows three generations of women and how they are all connected by a family heirloom, a wedding dress.

“We are so grateful that our already incredible JCC has emerged as a true cultural arts center. No longer do we need to go to Manhattan to hear some of the greatest authors and public figures of our time. We are enriched by each and every event. I am so proud to be a part of this!” Eva D.
