SPORTS TRAINING

BEAMON’S TEAM BASKETBALL TRAINING
Ages: 7+ years

We are excited to welcome George Beamon to the SJJCC team! A former NCAA Division 1 player, George led Roslyn to the 2008-2009 Nassau County Class A Championship, setting a school record of 56 points. In his professional career, he was drafted in Round 3 with Pick 6 of the 2014 NBA D-League Draft to Oklahoma City Thunder affiliate. Lately Beamon has been playing overseas. At SJJCC, he’s known for instructing individuals and groups in sports rules, game strategies, and performance principles, such as specific ways of moving the body, hands or feet.
Begins Tuesday, July 6 (Sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays)
$90 members / $110 nonmembers per hour
$50 members / $60 nonmembers per half hour

CREATE-A-CLASS
Ages: 5+ years
Gather three or more friends to play and train outdoors for 45 minutes in baseball, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and volleyball! Training is customized to accommodate all individual and team sports. Maximum of 10 children per class.
$20 members per child / $35 nonmembers per child

BACKYARD SPORTS
Ages: 3-7 years
These lessons are all about fun and introducing sports skills to young children. We will cover a wide range of games and coordination skills including soccer, t-ball, and more.

TEEN SPORTS FITNESS: SPORTS TRAINING + PERSONAL TRAINING   
Ages: 12-17 years
This comprehensive training plan incorporates sports specific drills including agility, flexibility, and balance combined with a 30-minute personal training session on proper techniques for strength training and cardio workouts. Includes 4 hour-long sessions.
