RED CROSS CERTIFICATION COURSES

AMERICAN RED CROSS FIRST AID + CPR CLASSES
Ages: 12+ years
The American Red Cross Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid Certification Course, gives you the information and the skills that you need to help adults and children during many emergency situations, such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies.

The American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification Course, will prepare you for the moments that matter. Our CPR certification classes can help you provide assistance when someone is faced with a cardiac or breathing emergency.

Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid: Wednesday, April 3, 5pm
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer: Wednesday, March 20, 5pm
$90 members / $105 nonmembers per class
(A maximum of 10 students will be in each class)

LIFEGUARD TRAINING
Ages: 15+ years
Become a certified lifeguard in just one weekend! You’ll earn your American Red Cross certification in three different areas Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer. The combined in-person and virtual class is taught by American Red Cross instructors with more than 20 years of lifeguarding and swim experience. All applicants need to pass a pre-test to be eligible and you must attend all classes within the session.

SWIMMING + WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR COURSE – IN-PERSON + DIGITAL BLENDED CLASS
Ages: 16+ years
Train to become an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor ™ and develop your understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions, and evaluate participants’ progress, in this combined digital and in-person class.

Courses and presentations include:
• Parent + Child Aquatics Levels 1-2
• Preschool Aquatics Levels 1-3
• Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-6
• Three adult courses
• Basic Water Rescue
• Personal Water Safety

Participants can begin taking their online portion after registering and need to successfully complete the pre-course session which includes demonstration of swimming skills at Learn-to-Swim Level 4.
