Evening/Weekend Customer Service

Under the direction of the membership department, attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the agency to employees, members, and general public.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pleasantly answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • Take and relay messages in a timely manner
  • Provide information to callers or direct calls to appropriate department
  • Pleasantly greet persons entering SJJCC
  • Direct persons to correct destination
  • Assist employees, members, and the general public
  • Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Tidy and maintain the reception area
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor

HOURS: 
Monday-Thursdays, 2-9pm, and every Sunday from 8am-4pm., to ensure coverage at the customer service desk the Weekend/Evening Receptionist must be flexible.
Must be available to work holidays and fill in during other hours.
