Our evening/weekend Customer Service Receptionist should have a personal touch and the ability to make anyone walking through our doors feel welcome and wanted. He/she/they is responsible for providing courteous and efficient service, including supplying information and responding to inquiries regarding Sid Jacobson JCC to employees, members, and public over the phone and face-to-face. This position is in Nassau County, Long Island.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in an office environment and hands-on experience with office equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Exceptional multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks with limited guidance
- Superior customer service skills and friendly demeanor and professional attitude and appearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Team player with excellent organizational skills
- Punctual and strong attendance history
- Previous sales experience preferred but not required
- Flexibility required
