In the 1950s, a group of mostly Jewish dancers from New York City fell in love with a dance from Cuba, the mambo, earning them the nickname the mamboniks. This documentary tells the story of how two cultures, Jewish and Latin, met on the dance floor at a time when America was racially segregated and anti-Semitism was commonplace.
