Provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies, and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over. Those who successfully complete the course receive an American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED that is valid for 2 years. Must attend all classes within session. Additional dates may be added based on the discretion of the instructor.

MARCH SCHEDULE:

• Saturday, March 23, 9:30am-6:30pm (pre-test)
• Sunday, March 24, 10am-7pm
• Saturday, March 30, 10am-7pm (part of the day will be offsite at a deep water facility)
• Sunday, March 31, 10am-7pm (may run later until completion of final test)

All applicants must pass a pre-test to be eligible.
