The Auction for Excellence is the premier fundraising event on Long Island. It connects thousands of donors, sponsors, volunteers and participants who enthusiastically collaborate to provide Sid Jacobson JCC with funding for vital social services programs utilized by thousands in our community.
Funds raised from the Friendship Circle Luncheon benefit The Friendship Circle, a social adult day program, which provides services for those who are functionally or memory impaired as a result of aging, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease or other related conditions. The Luncheon also supports The Fay J. Lindner Foundation Let’s Do Lunch program, the first-of-its-kind day program in the nation for individuals in their 30s, 40s and 50s with Young Onset Alzheimer’s and other related dementias.
Funds raised from the annual 5K Run/Walk and Children’s Fun Run benefits the Nancy Marx Strength to Strength Cancer Wellness Program funded by the Beth C. Tortolani Foundation.
