17th Annual Auction for Excellence: An Epicurean Event

The Auction for Excellence is the premier fundraising event on Long Island. It connects thousands of donors, sponsors, volunteers and participants who enthusiastically collaborate to provide Sid Jacobson JCC with funding for vital social service programs utilized by thousands in our community.

9th Annual Friendship Circle Luncheon

Funds raised from the Friendship Circle Luncheon benefit The Friendship Circle, a social adult day program, which provides services for those who are functionally or memory impaired as a result of aging, stroke, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease or other related conditions. The luncheon also supports The Fay J. Lindner Foundation Let's Do Lunch program, the first-of-its-kind day program in the nation for individuals in their 30s, 40s and 50s with Young Onset Alzheimer's Disease and other related dementias.

Annual 5K Run/Walk and Children's Fun Run

Funds raised from the Annual 5K Run/Walk and Children's Fun Run benefit Strength to Strength, the community center’s free adult cancer wellness program funded by the Beth C. Tortolani Foundation.

27th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing

Funds raised from this Golf & Tennis Outing will help the JCC provide important social services for children and families in need. Some of these opportunities include:
 

  • Cancer Support & Wellness Programs 
  • Bereavement Support 
  • Teen Community Service Outreach 
  • Vocational Experience for Older Teens and Young Adults with Special Needs
