Ruth & Saul Weinberger Center for Jewish Life & Learning
Jewish Education & Workshops
Join the JCC's Green Team
Facilitating the JCC's Green Initiative, the Ruth & Saul Weinberger Center for Jewish Life & Learning received one of 20 Greening Fellowships awarded by the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center generously funded by the UJA Federation's Commission on Jewish Identity and Renewal. We are striving to set an example for environmental stewardship by placing the environment high on our agenda and reducing our carbon footprint with the goal of generating a meaningful Jewish response to global climate change. We've taken a number of significant steps (visit our recycling center!) to begin the greening of the JCC. Help us further our efforts. Brainstorm project ideas and get involved! For more information, contact Lina Zerbarini at ext. 166, lzerbarini@sjjcc.org.
