Youth Department

The Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center in East Hills, NY, is looking for talented individuals to work in our Youth Department. We service an after-school population of K-5 grade, Monday through Friday. Available positions include, Assistant Sports Coach, Homework Assistant, Room Monitor & Bus Monitor.

If you have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for working with children, this is the place for you. We're filling positions for Fall 2010. Classes begin in October.

Theatre
Interested in choreography, scenic design, costumes, lighting, sound and stage crew? Are you a musician? Learn your craft and improve your skills by working with our professional staff. Teens earn community service hours. College internships available.

Wanted
Scenic designers, set builders, artists, costumers, lighting and sound technicians, stage managers and stage crew for our 2010 season. Have fun working behind the scenes! Teens earn community service hours. College internships available.

Calling All Musicians
Play in the “pit” for our amazing productions. Especially looking for keyboardists, drummers, guitarists and horn players. Experienced teens are welcome.
