Associate Director of Early Childhood Services
Jewish Early Childhood Center on North Shore of LI seeks a full time Assistant Director for a multi-site facility. Candidates must have a master’s degree with a concentration in early childhood birth–second grade, and 5+ years of administrative experience. This is a year-round position. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Curriculum development for nursery school that is aligned with NYS Core Curriculum
  • New program development including parenting and family programs
  • Supervision and continued development of infant and toddler daycare site
  • Supervision of nursery camp
  • Development and implementation of a marketing plan
  • Maintaining NAEYC accreditation

Lead and Assistant Teachers at Bernice Jacobson Day School & Camp
Located at 340 Wheatley Road, Old Westbury NY, 11568

Principal Responsibilities:
We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers for our infant and toddler classrooms. Lead teachers must have a degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA credentials. Assistant teachers must have previous daycare experience in infant and toddler settings. Knowledge of NYS OCFS regulations a plus! We offer a competitive salary, which will commensurate with your experience.

Summer Streeters Day Camp:

Camp runs from July 1-August 16

Counselors
Counselors would be working with children in grades K–6. We are looking for counselors who are energetic, creative, and love working with children. Need to be at least a junior in high school to apply.

Art Specialist
The Art Specialist would be working with campers in grades Pre-K–6. Help design numerous camp activities as well as other activities throughout the summer.

Early Childhood Group Leader
Summer Streeters is looking to hire a certified early childhood teacher for this position. The Pre-K program runs Monday through Friday from 8:15 to 1:15pm (some exceptions apply).

Interested in choreography, scenic design, costumes, lighting, sound and stage crew? Are you a musician? Learn your craft and improve your skills by working with our professional staff. Teens earn community service hours. College internships available.

Scenic designers, set builders, artists, costumers, lighting and sound technicians, stage managers and stage crew for our 2010 season. Have fun working behind the scenes! Teens earn community service hours. College internships available.

Calling All Musicians
Play in the “pit” for our amazing productions. Especially looking for keyboardists, drummers, guitarists and horn players. Experienced teens are welcome.
