Whether you want to improve your shape, increase endurance, build bone density, lose weight, boost energy, improve coordination and balance or simply look better and feel better, a JCC personal trainer is for you. Our nationally certified training professionals create your fitness program. Sessions are tailored based on your goals, ability and availability. Training safely and effectively is a mainstay in any fitness program, and devoting your time to personal training helps eliminate any guesswork and takes you beyond your typical exercise regimen. Complimentary Fitness Consultation, Including Evaluation & Orientation
Two half-hour sessions with a certified personal trainer
A fun, invigorating, individualized and FREE consultation for new members or individuals looking to reacquaint themselves with our facility is provided. A must for all those 16 years of age and older who seek optimal results from their workouts. The consultation is designed in two parts: the evaluation; a review of your medical history and fitness goals and the orientation; a basic program designed to familiarize you with the weight and cardiovascular equipment so proper form and safety are ensured. Upon completion of the consultation, you receive a personalized fitness program designed to guide you to a healthier lifestyle.

Program Policies
- Personal training appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Packages expire 12 months after the date of purchase.
- Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- All packages must be paid in full by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover), check, cash or money order prior to the scheduling of the first training session.

The importance of developing fitness programs for kids and adults with special needs is extremely important. The struggle to maintain a healthy lifestyle for the general population is challenging enough. We need to recognize these special individuals and realize that many cannot do it without our help.

Training safely and effectively is a mainstay in any fitness program. Personal training ensures that teens build a strong fitness foundation. Personal training is at a reduced rate for children ages 8–12 and teens ages 13–16.
The Teen Fitness Certification Course
Teens ages 13-15 are required to take this course before utilizing the fitness center. Parental attendance and a signed consent form are required. The major components include:
- How to design a program (reps, sets, what is safe, etc.).
- How to safely perform the selected exercises.
- Fitness center, including weight rooms and cardio room, safety and etiquette.
After completion of the certification course you are able to utilize the fitness center, including the weight rooms and cardio room, independently.

Special Needs Personal Training
Our Vision
To provide group and/or individual physical fitness training for children and adults with special needs as well as to further develop fitness programs with strong emphasis on play that can be implemented into their daily routine.

Current Programs
All current programs are specialized and customized for each individual/group depending on their needs. We will work with the family, residential staff, special education staff and therapists to determine the fitness activities best suited for the individual or group. The secret to the success of any fitness program is to have fun and be consistent.
