MLK Day of Service: Be an Upstander Breakfast + Service Project

January 15 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Ages: All Ages
Learn more about the life and legacy of MLK and how his message of inclusion and acceptance still resonates today. After a quick breakfast, The Art Therapy Project will lead us in a group project as we reflect on what it means to be together, and the importance of standing up for each other.

This will be followed by 4 age-appropriate breakout sessions:

Storytime & Craft, led by The Bryant Library (Ages: Birth-5 years)

Interactive Performance by Mainstages and Service Project (Ages: 5-10 years)

LI’s Coalition Against Bullying Presentation + Service Project (Ages: 11-18 years)

Art Therapy Workshop: A Reflection on the Rise of Antisemitism (Ages: 18+ years)
